Meanwhile in my council area, we have a hideous bandstand with a disco ball in it to celebrate the coronation. IIRC Camilla said it ‘was not what they expected’ or similar - damned with very faint praise indeed. It plays some Morecambe & Wise soundtrack every 15 minutes, while trees turn in their tubs. 🤮
It’s rusting and falling apart already, and it cost over 1.1 million. 🤬
And we also have this monument to Dead Betty & Phil - the dog is life size, the people, not so much.

Clotworthy Gardens in Antrim play host to this statue trio of the favourite corgi, Betty & Phil.
The statue seems to be made from sone kind of resin that looks like aged bronze. It features a sitting life-size corgi on the left, with Elizabeth II gazing slightly upward, and her late husband behind her with his hands behind his back. He is leaning slightly forward. She wears a headscarf, quilted waistcoat and a tweed pleated skirt, carrying her infamous black handbag.

Ornate cream, gold & turquoise coloured metal gates with King Charles, Queen Camilla in turquoise on a curved top. Behind them is a three storey bandstand edifice, with a silver glitter ball in the top. It is surmounted by a crown. The middle storey has circular stairs going up each side to a balustrade that can be walked around. It is always chained off so no one can enter.
The bottom storey has a wooden floor and some overhead lights. The floor is rotting as water from the plants on the balcony continually drips onto it.
