Paying users are getting GPT-4o back after lots of users complained that GPT-5 is a downgrade.

It’s so weird to me that some set of these complaints are about the “personality” of the new model and not its functionality.

The software game has changed, man.

@carnage4life@mas.to the functionality ALSO sucks. I noticed immediately it was substantially worse. It half-asses as much as possible, giving much more superficial answers across the board. I think they are trying to minimize compute time costs, but that is only an educated guess on my part based on my personal experience.
