Having your party member be kidnapped is such a bullshit writing trope btw.
It's one of the few things of BG3 writing I don't like at all, but at least the writers made it impossible for the game to pick your love interest.
Because that would have been extra annoying and everyone would have downloaded a mod to avoid it I feel.

Yeah I got lucky that it was one of my party members I barely ever played with anyways, so I just ignored that quest line for a few weeks while I did other things. I was actually a little bit surprised when I went there and found her because I forgot she was missing.

:blahaj: Why Not Zoidberg? 🦑@JessTheUnstill@infosec.exchange Yeah... (from memory) I think the game prioritizes Lae'zel and Halsin in that order for some reason (and then someone else but i don't remember who) , and is outright blocked from picking your love interest.
Also it is kinda funny (but good) that the quest isn't timed at least.
