How can anyone think that projects such as a $200 million gilded ballroom larger than the White House itself, and a plane from the Saudis that will need at least $1 billion of modifications before its even ready to be Air Force One - neither of which will be completed during Trump's current term! - are presents for the next guy after a peaceful transition? Republicans aren't known for their generosity.

They plan on clinging to power forever. The USA is now a dictatorship.

@Strandjunker@mstdn.social Plus, the last time Trump was voted out in a national election, he incited a violent insurrection to seize the Presidency by force. Had it gone according to plan, pipe bombs would have gone off, Nancy Pelosi would have been murdered on social media livestream, and Trump would have been there in person to announce the restoration of democracy. Only the Secret Service stopped him.

Adjust to the new reality: the Republican Fascist Party will never leave unless dragged screaming.
