@jonathan859@someplace.social Audient interfaces are great for newbies, the EVO line got a nice smart gain feature that isn't built into the iD line that you might like. I've heard really good things about the Focusrite interfaces and their accessibility, but haven't seen one in person yet. If you decide to go for one of those, you'll have to make sure to get one of the Gen4 ones, as older gens don't come with accessible software. Both brands will be able to power said devices just fine.

@ToniBarth@troet.cafe So yup, I've decided to go with a Focusrite 4th gen 2i2 thing, apparently the 4th gen features an auto gain-like feature as well, and if I understand it right, they guarantee accessibility or at least are committed to it, so things should go well. If you want I can keep you updated, will probably order from Thomann soon.
