Hey @ToniBarth@troet.cafe
I saw the Audient accessible interfaces on your audio software page. I'm considering getting my first interface and was wondering if you'd recommend these to a newbie, and if which one, like the EVO or iD series? For instance. I want to connect a Shure SM 58 as input and eventually a MIDI keyboard or a guitar later, and obviously basic studio headphones as output. I also found the Focusrite Scarlett 4th gen interfaces, what do you think about these?
I appreciate your help.
btw we could speak German too if that's easier, so feel free in whatever you feel like.

@jonathan859@someplace.social Audient interfaces are great for newbies, the EVO line got a nice smart gain feature that isn't built into the iD line that you might like. I've heard really good things about the Focusrite interfaces and their accessibility, but haven't seen one in person yet. If you decide to go for one of those, you'll have to make sure to get one of the Gen4 ones, as older gens don't come with accessible software. Both brands will be able to power said devices just fine.
