If nothing else, the folk telling me my images are “ai slop” are being the most open about telling me it’s heartless, tasteless, and soulless too. They’re feeling free and safe in giving honest reviews, which is kind of a positive.

The AI tide has brutalized people into a numb over-skepticism that leads them to reject art and imagination as a concept, despite those being the very things they want to protect through their skepticism

AI does not “democratise creativity” so much as drown it out in a morass of half-baked slop.

You are making a common mistake. Nanoraptor does not actually have any Photoshop skills to speak of. She has a portal to alternate universes and takes photographs of things she sees there, which she then pretends are original art. All of her so-called art is simply the result of pointing a camera through an inter-dimensional portal. Anyone with access to a similar portal could do the same.
