Weβve had a strange summer here. Itβs been a very unsettled pattern- we havenβt had the heat we usually get, at the most two days in a row 25-27C and rain.. and weβve been so humid! Gone are the dry summers. Mornings and evenings often feel like fall.

It definitely does feel a lot different this year. We had some really hot weather in the spring, and we've had a few brief runs of 35C weather since, but in general it's been much cooler than the last 5 years. We've also had far more rain than we have over that period.
I can't tell if this year is actually an outlier, or is just normal that feels weird because the last few years have been hot and dry - actual drought conditions.
The prairies are a weird and wonderful place.
