@Caiotekit@convo.casa Pretty much all packaged tofu needs some effort to get rid of the xing, the grassy flavor. Pouring boiling, slightly salty water over it and leaving it for 10 minutes helps, for a really minimal preparation. But I like all tofu methods! boiled, fried, stuffed, smoked, baked, breaded, eggy, pudding, seared, sauced, spiced, crumbled...

@carrideen@c18.masto.host Thanks 😊😊 for that idea. I usually like grassy flavors, like matcha, but there’s something about the tofu…I will try that idea.
