Sugar, Spite, & Caffeineokay fine. ive unfollowed the #taco hashtag. jam-packed full of self-indulgent assholes who think a funny acronym is a replacement for actual organizing and political action, refuse to cw their political posts, and dont even have the basic decency to post pictures of tacos, which is what the hashtag used to be before their witless, graceless asses took over.

It's a similar issue with the FAFO craze. People keep finding out that no one gives a shit unless it directly affects them. A better tact is to talk about what we can do, be it donating, marching, writing letters, attending town halls, knowledgably arguing the issues, and of course getting out the vote. Cute acronyms are for feeling giddy while accomplishing nothing. They are in the same category as, "We need to have a conversation about..." It's time to engage in struggle.
