My dentist today when we were discussing oral surgeons and other dental specialists—
“When you call be sure they take your insurance because there’s no guarantee. Some of them now don’t take insurance at all because dealing with insurance companies is so hard.”
How is this a functioning medical care system? It is nuts that they can choose not to accepts a major plan like BCBS. It’s like “no we don’t take credit cards. You must bring us unmarked bills in a briefcase and leave it next to a blue mailbox.”
