What I enjoyed was how I saw a trailer for it that seemed absolutely horrid, tooted about it (https://mastodon.rhys.wtf/@rhys/114960182700364511) then couldn't stop thinking about it for a week, then decided I simply had to see it — and in a way felt very satisfied it was as horrible as I thought it would be.
It is partly explained by having been filmed during the covid lockdowns and the War of the Worlds copyright expiring very recently.
