Since I have a #gotosocial server set up, I'm going to move my #bot over to it, and create new ones there, too.

I know how to migrate the existing account to a new server. But I also know it won't copy the posts.

There are some tools to copy them, but the ones I've seen create new ones.

Is there an existing tool that will insert them into the DB with the original timestamps? Since I own the server, may as well.

Or is that a bad idea?

They don’t get federated out but they’ll be there to anyone who looks at the profile.

However I already wrote a script for it. It's probably safer for folks to use a tool rather than the hack I just did lol

And yep, slurp did the trick. Much cleaner than my version, too.
