@PhoenixSerenity@beige.party it’s probably the climate. You might look into high elevation peppers from Peru, Bolivia and Chile for better luck like ají chinchi amarillo (sub variant of ají amarillo). You could probably grow rocoto if you bring it inside in winter. ❤

@jblue@mastodon.world I grow only bell & jalapeño peppers outdoors in Summer. I have Thai chilies & scorpion peppers in greenhouse. I'll check out those varieties you recommended 👍👍
