@quixoticgeek@social.v.st well, actually, what they are doing is recontextualising your toots in a manner that allows the world to know that they actually didn’t understand who you are or why you say what you said, whilst leaving them feeling like they have righted an incorrect opinion by a misguided person on the internet. Please keep that in mind when you next think of applying such a generalisation to such wonderful members of the internet proletariat. They really are trying to do you a favour.
