@JessTheUnstill@infosec.exchange We told people this would happen if they didn't vote for Harris. They called us hysterical and took great offense at having their moral and ethical purity criticized due to practical concerns.
The republicans even told us they'd do all this. The guy literally said, "Four more years, you know what? It'll be fixed, it'll be fine, you won't have to vote anymore."
But because Harris wasn't perfect, they chose to let the arsonists back in and reduce our world to cinders.

I have my doubts that there were actually enough "conscientious objectors" from the left to swing things. It's just that Democrats don't have any message that actually resonates with people anymore. They just run on "Trump bad", and "here's my 25 point moderate plan to maybe make things better in 10 years".
