Is it ethical for trans people to leave the US?

In my previous thread/poll, and other places, I've had a lot of assertions about whether it's ethical for trans people to leave the US https://social.coop/@cwebber/114994588934133932

Let me put it this way: is it ethical right now for trans people to relocate within the US right now? Eg, is it ethical for trans people to leave Texas or Florida for a "safer" state.

Yes? Then I think it's ethical for people to choose to leave the US also.

I would go so far as to argue that anyone who is able to leave the usa has the moral obligation to do so in order to avoid paying the taxes that pay for things like ICE, genocide, etc.

You have to file taxes but you don't have to pay them. I don't pay a cent to the us govt nor do I owe them. My monthly deduction goes to the country where I live and if I did owe anything to usa I would almost certainly not pay it.
