The thing about Palestine Action, in the UK, is as far as I can tell they did the absolutely most precision-targeted, moral action possible; property destruction against actual literal weapons of war - nobody harmed, no disruption to the general public.
No wonder the government is losing their shit and making an example of them.

I think that's the point, they embarrassed the security people by the ease with which they got into the base and right up to the aircraft. A sensible govt would have released them with a warning and instigated a security review to prevent any real terrorists trying the same thing but with explosives rather than paint. Shame we don't have a sensible government.
