@appassionato@mastodon.social @photography@a.gup.pe ... amazing photo ... I've been to South America once to Peru and when we visited Cuzco, I felt like I recognized people. I'm Cree from James Bay in northern Ontario and in Cuzco, there were moments where I felt I saw Elders I remembered years ago.
Without the facepaint, this woman's photo also looks familiar to Indigenous people here in the north too. Beautiful.
