"My heart overflows with love for the beauty of this world.
I see war, but I paint flowers.
I paint what I want for this world. I try to reflect to the best of my ability the power and sacredness of Mother Earth which is the sacredness of all life as we know it.
May we live long enough to see humankind turn away from violence and greed and towards creating a world based on caring and giving. May we live long to see the world embrace global disarmament."

"We are just one species among 10m. At the same time, though, we are unique in our ability to interact with one another in a way that enables us to make an impact on the entire planet and every other species. We have also, uniquely, evolved the capacity to evaluate our actions logically and morally from a greater perspective. With this insight comes great responsibility, and it is time for us to shoulder that responsibility β because nature is all we have, and all we are."
Anne Sverdrup-Thygeson
What is success?
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate the beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded!

THE PRAYER OF THE DONKEY
O God, who made me
to trudge along the road
always,
to carry heavy loads
always,
and to be beaten
always!
Give me great courage and gentleness.
One day let somebody understand me -
that I may no longer want to weep
because I can never say what I mean
and they make fun of me.
Let me find a juicy thistle
and make them give me time to pick it.
And, Lord, one day, let me find again
my little brother of the Christmas crib.
Amen

Philippe Lazzarini, the head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, has said at least 100 children died in the enclave due to malnutrition and hunger, while more than 40,000 children were reported killed or injured due to Israeli attacks.
At least 17,000 children are unaccompanied and separated from their families, and one million minors are deeply traumatised and out of education.

βGaza is a cage in which people are being marked for deathβ
An American paediatrician who volunteered in the Gaza Strip says the injuries inflicted on Palestinian aid seekers at sites run by the GHF suggest that Israeli forces there shot the men and boys deliberately, by targeting and maiming specific body parts on specific days.

"Naderβs death was registered in the grim statistic of Palestinians killed at aid distribution sites, which today stands at 1,500. To the world, he was just a number; to me, he was a good man who had harmed no one but always helped others; he was robbed of everything by the occupation, his home, his job, his dreams of travelling and working in design and video editing. His family is now doomed to starve."
