We here in Germany have a word for people who accommodate Nazis for their own comfort or business interests or whatever else you might use to justify this utter fucking cowardice:

@gruber@mastodon.social You’re right. Germans didn’t know where things were going, because Nazism was a new thing. You people would know exactly where it’s going, if you’d just open a history book. That makes America objectively worse than Nazi Germany.
