I feel like my new system is having some gender issues.
And this is the serious issue. Why the heck is it still "Kiev", Debian?
I clearly remember that it's already Kyiv in Ubuntu for some time. 
@yura@udongein.xyz probably it might be worth a shot filing a bug report upstream? Consider though that the timezone db uses the anglicized name for all cities, which might explain why they went for it 
@lucent@antani.cyou But my debian 12 allows to set up Europe/Kyiv. And that's why it's even more weird
@yura@udongein.xyz @lucent@antani.cyou because it propably supports UA-UA & RU-UA as language/localization option?
