Well the time has finally come: Boston Police is going fully encrypted which means my BPD Broadcastify feed will be shutting down on Saturday

I wonder if the Harbor Maritime Response channel will stay in the clear

@farewell_ladmin@infosec.exchange I think this is so unfortunate. Citizens being able to listen to such comms add more overall benefit than hiding it from the public.

@Megawatt@infosec.exchange agreed, BPD is at least making six of their channels available to stream, albeit with a delay but that's only their main dispatch channels so we do lose out on some of the tactical channels
