OK Fediverians, I'm looking for opinions.

I'm creating another
#bot that I'd like to have send out classic, serialized literature. I was originally just thinking the Sherlock stories, but figured I might cycle through a number of works and authors.

I'll put my questions in replies.

Boosts for reach appreciated

Question1: Post length.

Chapters in A Study in Scarlet (the first Holmes book) are about 15-20K characters. Even in 1,000 character chunks that's 15-20 threaded posts for a chapter.

Do you think just go with it, or split longer chapters over multiple days? So, 8-10 posts in a thread, splitting chapters over 2 days.

Question 2: Frequency

Leaving aside splitting chapters, how often do you think I should have it post?

Every day? Chapter a week?

Question 3: Programming

Do something like, post a book at a time, then switch authors?

Do an entire author's catalog before moving on? So, all of Doyle's Sherlock stories first, then maybe Dumas?

Or, Mystery Mondays, Adventure Wednesday...

Again, opinion appreciated. I obviously have my thoughts, but I'm curious if others would like to chime in.
