I KNEW IT

an fx-CG50/Graph 90+E display. it is meant to show the state of a handful of R61524(LCD controller) registers at the top left, but unfortunantly, i may or may not have intentionally flipped the ID registers, which control what direction pixels take

the result is that now the text is inverted and on the bottom right :D

this however was meant to be a side test
seemingly the R61524 does not recognise writes to HWM and just drops it back to 0
