dillydI saw a beautiful skunk on my morning walk before dawn. Low light and I obviously didn't want to get too close. They're really gorgeous creatures. Nice lines and curves and contrasts and long flowing fur.

@Rihilism@toot.community @dillyd@turtleisland.social I was chased by skunks thru the Cades Vove campground after coming down off the mountain where I picked blueberries til dark and the bears showed up. More frightened by the skunks.

The sister of a good friend of mine had a pet skunk. They had the scent gland surgically removed, but apparently they still have a bit of that smell, even without the gland.
