@arstechnica@mastodon.social SCOTUS is corrupt as fuck.
@arstechnica@mastodon.social Elections matter, and kids need to stop being so cynical.

QotD: Supreme Court shows "hostility toward sound legal reasoning."
@arstechnica@mastodon.social What's the point to appeal to the law in a country where the law means nothing?
@susiemagoo@mstdn.social @arstechnica@mastodon.social wtf about anything is reason to be LESS cynical?
@MxVerda@lgbtqia.space @susiemagoo@mstdn.social @arstechnica@mastodon.social OK. I'm 70 yrs old and I learned the hard way in the 1970s and 80s that if you are so cynical that you don't bother voting, you end up with Donold Fucking Trump destroying your country. Even if you think it won't make a difference, I can guarantee you that not voting results in nothing good happening.

@SteveJB@mastodon.social @MxVerda@lgbtqia.space @susiemagoo@mstdn.social @arstechnica@mastodon.social problem being it's the least motivated votes who don't vote. You have to attract them with something to vote for, not just against. Liberals have been failing because of this
@SteveJB@mastodon.social @susiemagoo@mstdn.social @arstechnica@mastodon.social tell me dad in his 50s that. I voted, he didn't
@MxVerda@lgbtqia.space @susiemagoo@mstdn.social @arstechnica@mastodon.social Good point. I'll tell anyone at any age of any political bent. If you vote, you might not lose. If you don't vote, you've already lost.
