Question for those with kids/grandkids who grew up in the digital clock era: do any of the young folks say "it was a quarter to nine" or "half an hour"?
I have an 
watch, but 99% of the time use an analog face. I noted the time when I moved my irrigation hose (about a quarter hour ago.)
