As I communicate with many people from different regions of the world, I try to remember when I get a reply that may sting, often it is not arrogance or rudeness but cultural differences in communication styles. It also helps to remember that certain phrases, meanings, intent of language, from one country means something different in another so it may be on the OP author to reply back with something about their intent, kind of a translation, instead of getting angry or applying stereotypical labels.

I am human, and sometimes that is hard, but I try to remember that and give the benefit of the doubt.

@paul@oldfriends.live Hard agree. I also try to remember that sometimes, that annoying Reply Guy is merely elaborating on a point for the benefit of others, not implying I don't know the info already.

Sometimes, it's well-intentioned but that's lost online. So I always pause to think before snapping back or hitting the block button...just in case the misunderstanding is my own.
