Good idea. Stay at MW 1.43 if you need SMW ;-)

SMW update to support MW 1.44 could take a while ...

...allegedly they are planning to release a compatible version of SMW in August.

But truth to be told, my use case for SMW is not that urgent right now. I can wait a few months, if necessary.
