Brains are funny sometimes, like you can stare at a website and just completely not notice some part of the UI - like a link you're looking for, even though it's right there

UI/UX sometimes feels like it suffers from the same design group-think that led to that "open floor designs are great and is what everybody wants!" effect.

If anyone needs to touch grass more often in due course of furthering their craft, its the digital landscapers :-)

edit: we all need to touch more grass these days, not to pick on any one craft or group of folks :-)

edit2: And I'd still be using scrolling marquees in my designs if left to my own devices, so I'm no judge on what's good design...
