Didn't you just like my article about that yesterday, Jane?
I suspect that Casey had some conflict of interest with Yoel Roth about talking to me. Apparently, Yoel had a whole company town-hall about my article in the Guardian and told the company that T&S at Match was so much better now. This was the week after he fired the entire critical-safety team and most of the remaining safety staff, so I guess they didn't get to comment on a public statement that Karoline Leavitt would be proud of - When one of the remaining ones sent me the video of the town-hall, they weren't very polite.
They just hire people who will do the shit they ask for and will end up ultimately being used as a scapegoat, you'd have thought he'd have learned that lesson from Twitter though - But hey, the money is good, though the stock options are questionable :P
I have been very selective in who I talk to and their history of reporting - But even with those tiny organisations and 40 years doing this, suing a few companies, speaking out about more, you'd think I'd show up in any T&S whistleblower search - When I joined OkCupid the person who hired me half-jokingly said "I am only hiring you if you promise not to sue us!" so I guess my reputation was already set back in 2012 (and I promised not to sue them unless they turned shitty).
After this meeting I have in a few minutes I won't be talking to other journos for a while, so it's moot anyway.
