Good morning everyone from the Highlands of Scotland, where I arrived safely and just a wee bit later than scheduled yesterday after a largely uneventful train journey. Once again ScotRail excelled by not offering any means to buy even a coffee on board a train packed with tourists, never mind a trolley service , but that is another matter.
It's strange here without Dad, but his memories are everywhere and my sisters have added a lovely large portrait of him to the family photos wall where I can see him smiling out at me as I type. My sister gave me his binoculars to take home for Grant to use while birding and his hard drive full of audio books for myself. There's a lot of listening on there as the old pirate was prolific 😁
A gentle day on the cards. I don't have any crochet orders yet, but that's okay as I'm planning to catch up on some family crochet projects for a change.
