#3dprinting is nice when you're heading out on a trip and the Garmin’s mount just broke. Related, anyone buy a replacement back or send these in for repair?

back of a Garmin Edge bike GPS where a 3d printed mount has been glued on since the factory one snapped of one of the ears.

@jerzone@techhub.social The mount on my garmin edge broke as well and I printed a replacement. Worked well but can realistically only print in pla/petg and I didn't trust it for long-term use so I ordered a a replacement (and a couple of backups) from garmin. However, on my garmin the mount is attached to the device with just two small screws so it was easy to swap and I didn't have to deal with the case itself.
