Now that computers are helping the men do their jobs, they are reportedly going to let one woman call a game.

Never forget that MLB trusted computers before they trusted human beings.

@cbtryon@mastodon.world She worked games in the PCL when I watched the Beavers as a kid. I was almost positive she was going to be the first. There were some creeping doubts tho.

We had "Knot Hole Club" season tickets to the bleachers. It was like $12 each for the whole season. Of course, our parents still had to pay a dollar a piece to sit with us.

Remember the night when Postema ejected the bat boy? She was right.

I missed the bat boy ejection.
I did see Bernard Brito blast a home run way out of the stadium.
