All of this administration's nonsensical nonsense, even if it's baseless technical errors, reminds me of an old line that things like this are like finding out that Hitler is trying to corner the global supply of manganese: even if you have no idea what's going on or why, you know who's involved and you have to assume the worst.

They will claim it was an accident or an oversight, or try to pin blame on a specific rogue worker.

But it was a probe. A test, a feint - to see what they can get away with. If nobody complained, they'd expand the program of censoring laws they don't intend to follow.

Their goal is simply to wear us out. Never give them an unearned win.
