I am using #claudecode to get rid of #squarespace and #confluence. For my home projects.

Some say GenAI is a bubble, but it starts to cannibalize other SaaS offerings. Other bubbles.

If I can use GenAI to get rid of subscriptions, so can others. And soon the market shifts.

That being said, this is a great learning experience. On many fronts.

* design and requirements analysis
* specification for GenAI tasks
* technology choices
* detecting failure early
* automated QA tests
* Application Security
* setting up proper development environments (Linux VM guests) for agentic coding and testing

The next subscriptions I want to get rid of are mobile apps. But GenAI isn't there yet when it comes to UX.

@windsheep@infosec.exchange What led you to use such a comprehensive tool as Confluence for "home projects"?

@reynardsec@infosec.exchange there are not many alternatives.

Most Wiki software is either from the PHP era or doesn't have features.

@windsheep@infosec.exchange understood.

I'm just wondering if - and at what point - it might turn out that you're spending more time on building these tools and fixing bugs than on your own projects. And to make it clear, I'm absolutely not criticizing your approach, I'm simply wondering whether… whether it's really worth it.

@reynardsec@infosec.exchange I am nearly done, so it takes 4-5 hours. I don't need 80% of the Enterprise features.
