It makes me sad that real life has still never given us a real computer interface as beautiful as the one made up for Star Trek: The Next Generation, which still looks amazing nearly 40 years later.
There are lots of fan made LCARS skins for stuff out there, but they are rarely as elegant looking as the originals, designed by Michael Okuda.
