It generally doesn't speak for a technology if it isn't automatically adopted by people for its usefulness and instead it takes CEOs, who are completely removed from the actual workload, to force it on them.

Github comment by eevee: this idea that people who actually do the thing will be "left behind" (whatever that means), while people who want to just tell a chatbot "do a thing" will be surfing the wave of the future, is truly baffling i'm a programmer because i enjoy programming, not because i secretly aspire to instead gently debate a word salad machine into making a ten-line change for me
