This past week I've been a little quiet because I've been busy with one of my favorite #volunteering activities. It takes place one week each year, helping process applications for the Native Forward Scholars Fund, the largest direct scholarship provider to Native American students. Every year they distribute about $12 million in scholarships to indigenous students all over the U.S.

While I don't make any decisions, I do see individuals spending years learning health, engineering, business, agriculture and more in order to eventually serve their communities. It's one positive, uplifting story after another.

So bring on the doom and gloom posts. This week, I am impervious.
