I’m going to be working on keyboard skills. Instead of focusing on repertoire or finger technique, although I will do some of that too, I want to focus on skills like improvisation, transposition, harmonization, etc. I found a book that I wanted to work with and learn from before and didn’t get very far—Improvising Fugue: A Method for Keyboard Artists by John J. Mortensen—and played around with learning the Rule of the Octave. I also played around with some free improvisation, sight read a couple of hymns, and played a bunch of I ii6/5 V I progressions through all the major and minor keys.
