"We're All Trying To Find The Guy Who Did This" is a quote from the Netflix sketch comedy series I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson. The quote originates from a sketch where an unnamed man in a hot dog costume tries to pretend he is not the one who has crashed a hot dog-shaped car. The image of the man in the costume was widely used as a reaction image on Twitter and other websites in 2020 and early 2021, typically in response to complaints about problems from the people responsible for those problems.

Yes I love my T-Mobile 5G Home Internet. T-Mobile promised a flat $50 a month and that’s what they are charging. We pulled down 916.93GB last March and there were no complaints. 60 MB/sec is great.

Speedtest showing 483 megabits (60 megabytes) per second download and 30 megabits (less than 4 megabytes) per second upload speeds. It’s not symmetric, but it is $50 a month. T-Mobile customer portal showing a flat $50 monthly bill.

My only complaint is the ethernet ports on the access point appear to be throttled. Or broken. They are absurdly slow, like 10 Mbps. I’ve gone through two different units, same result. So it’s all WiFi, all the time.

AT&T just left a door tag saying they’re ready to install residential fiber to our new neighborhood! I hadn’t gotten around to cancelling the old plan or returning their equipment yet. Procrastination pays off I guess.

Speedtest result showing 1234.5 megabits per second down and 1215.5 megabits per second up on a new fiber network install. Great!
