@Niall@mastodon.nz @Firesphere@cloudisland.nz they’ve been obtuse when I asked them for the prescription, asking if I meant the vet’s notes. The online store has a whole page talking about the Veterinary Council guidance on this, and how to request the prescription, which makes me suspicious that this is generally an issue.

Minor group about my pharmacy: they’re closing in a month, so all repeats will be transferred to Upper Hutt. I found this out AFTER I phoned them to ask them to process my new quarterly prescription. Asked them what am I supposed to do about the next two months, as I can’t get to Upper Hutt, apparently I have to remember to call them the week they close and they’ll give me all my drugs in one go.

Got confused and thought the GP had left items off as I didn’t pay as much as usual, turns out I’ve hit the cap, and one item was free. Also turns out I’ve got items that are expiring because I haven’t specifically asked for them.

Attempt two at fencing in the cat: we put up higher chicken wire this weekend, and fenced off a couple of areas we know he can jump up to. First time he went out he spent most of the time trying to figure out how to escape and tried to jump over a fence he couldn’t see, so got stuck and had to jump back down. He’s been out a couple of times and hasn’t appeared the wrong side of the fence so 🤞

He got out once, husband spent an hour standing at the back door watching the cat wandering around, then he went into the extended garden and the cat appeared from the steps. Extra fencing applied in that spot, and the cat is fully fenced in (and pooping in the rose bushes 🤦‍♀️)!
