Attempt two at fencing in the cat: we put up higher chicken wire this weekend, and fenced off a couple of areas we know he can jump up to. First time he went out he spent most of the time trying to figure out how to escape and tried to jump over a fence he couldn’t see, so got stuck and had to jump back down. He’s been out a couple of times and hasn’t appeared the wrong side of the fence so 🤞

He got out once, husband spent an hour standing at the back door watching the cat wandering around, then he went into the extended garden and the cat appeared from the steps. Extra fencing applied in that spot, and the cat is fully fenced in (and pooping in the rose bushes 🤦♀️
