Panel 1: Day 8: Still no wind in this dreadful place. It's eerily quiet and the crew is jumpy, as if the whole world is holding its breath. Waiting. The lights that lured us to this cursed atoll have not reappeared since that first night. We await Nature's whim. Panel 2: A sailor is looking through a telescope. The captain, standing behind him asks, "Anything to report?" "No, Sir. Just more gulls. Twice as many as yesterday. It's odd. They won't come near the ship." Panel 3: Close up of rocky outcropping with white seagulls on the tops of each. A man looms in the telescope's viewfinder. Panel 4: The sailor points in shock, "Sir! There's someone out there! Behind that rock!"

Panel 1: wide shot of the boat between rocky islands with silhouetted figures looking out. "There's another one!" Panel 2: A 19th century dressed woman is suddenly sitting dripping wet on the ship railing and says, "Hello, sailor. Looking for a good time?" Panel 3: The two sailors stare, speechless and little weirded out.

Panel 1: Woman in modern fishery outfit floating in a plastic bin alone in the middle of a cold gloomy ocean. She says, "Still no phone signal. Damn! If I get any bars before I'm rescued I'm ordering takeout. Deep dish."
Panels 2-4: As she paddles with a piece of wood, "Extra cheese! Bubbling hot! With olives!"
Panel 5: Exhausted, "Oof! What's the point? I'm probably going in circles."
Panel 6: Wide shot as she stands up in her crate and yells, "Come rescue me! I'll buy you a pizza! Free Pizza!"

Panel 1: A large orange looking crustacean pops up out of the water speaking an alien language.
Panel 2: Woman ducks down, "Crap!"
Panel 3: Creature mimics her, "Crap!"
Panel 4: The lady swings her board like a club as her small box rocks dangerously, "Shoo! Go away! Shoot! Crap!" The creature parrots her words, "Shoo. Shoo. Shoo."
Panel 5: Creature, "Shoo crap! Crap!"
Panel 6: The woman screams.

Panel 1: The creature says something unintelligible as it offers some kind sea star in its huge claw.
Panel 2: The lady is panicking in the corner of her bin boat, "No! Don't eat me!"
Panel 3: Creature takes a bite out of the sea star. Translation, "Good baby. It's food."
Panel 4: Creature spits out a big chunk of raw sea star, "Pizza! Yummy, yummy!"
Panel 5: The woman looks disgusted as the slimy piece of seafood slides down her arm.

Panel 1: Woman swings her board, "I said, shoo!"
Panel 2: And smacks the creature's claw.
Panel 3: The creature rears back holding its claw and exclaims, "Naughty!" The woman's floating bin overbalances and she falls into the water.
