The captain, standing behind him asks, "Anything to report?" "No, Sir. Just more gulls. Twice as many as yesterday. It's odd. They won't come near the ship." Panel 3: Close up of rocky outcropping with white seagulls on the tops of each. A man looms in the telescope's viewfinder. Panel 4: The sailor points in shock, "Sir! There's someone out there! Behind that rock!"
