I write the books I want to read but can't find.
I will, on occasion, post the picture of a park, usually taken in the morning on the day of the post. I use the tag #tommw for Talking On My Morning Walk, my somewhat daily podcast.
I never post the link. The picture is the "first word" of the podcast and tells my listeners that the new episode is coming. They know how to find it.

3. Romance across a wide range of niches.

Lately I've been reminded of the need to "show up." To be there to do the thing. To suck for the first 5 minutes, if need be, in order to get to the core of the doing.
I've also been reminded that it's not always enough. In spite of best intentions, interruptions and distractions show up, too.
That's why I focus on the day in front of me.
To focus on showing up again.

I'm losing my race with sunrise, but I have time to catch up. I can take a moment to just sit with myself and consider the day ahead.
I find it difficult. This slowing down. Being in the moment. Containing the froth sloshing within.
Some days are easier than others. Some feel like trying to stop the pot from boiling over after it's already drenched the stove top.
But this morning feels like a good day.

It's been a good week. I'm torn between maintaining momentum and taking a break.
I'm a bit scattered this morning.
Not conducive to getting my day under control but fighting it seldom yields better results. Just being aware of it matters, letting me recognize what's happening (again) and, perhaps, making a deliberate response.
Or maybe just rolling with it. Letting the day take me where it will.
