You know you're an old school Linux user when... you still try to use ifconfig and get a "command not found" error, followed by a moment of silent grief 🀬🀬

I even trust an AI startup less than an ad tech company like Google. They don’t have that kind of money, but then again, they might have AI batshit crazy investors. AI overhype is reached max with delusional investors and tech bros

Based on past experiences with Microsoft with similar case, I don't believe the government will succeed in breaking up Google. Big companies with a lot of money tend to win these battles. While it's unlikely, I'd still love to see a company like Google or Microsoft face real consequences for their actions. A boy can dream, can’t he? πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Who misses the old Linux Ethernet names? Remember when your network interfaces were just eth0 and eth1? Now we have long names like enp0s25. Let's see where you stand.

Here is another tip for Linux, *BSD, macOS, or Unix users. Sometimes your router, ISP, OS, or even a misconfiguration in dual-stack networking (IPv{4,6}) will use IPv4 or IPv6 instead of the desired protocol version. There is a simple way to tell commands (and services in a config file) to stick with IPv4 or IPv6 only by passing the -4 or -6 option. For example:

ping -4 domain-name # ping using IPv4
ping -6 domain-name # ping using IPv6
