This chart shows the total number of Stack Overflow questions asked each month. As you can see, AI summaries in Google and AI coding tools have nearly killed the site. It is only a matter of time before the site shuts down completely. The golden age of independent news, blogs, forums, and specialized sites like Stack Overflow is over. Whether this is good or bad, only time will tell. Personally, I think we are now restricting all internet traffic to just a few Gen AI apps https://data.stackexchange.com/stackoverflow/query/1926661#graph
Running out of disk space on your Linux, macOS, BSD, or Unix-like OS? Or perhaps you're hitting the classic disk quota limits set by your sysadmin? Fear not. Run du -sh * | sort -h command to get a sorted list of your directory sizes so you can remove or compress unwanted files. Here is another useful shell alias:
alias ducks='du -cks -- * | sort -rn | head'

Mozilla has a new CEO and he just announced that Firefox will evolve into a modern AI browser. This is a good example of how management doesnβt understand its own user base and why they go out of their way to install Firefox on Windows, Android, iOS and other devices.

Meanwhile, on the App Store, Firefox claims to champion privacy is now advertising AI partnerships as a new feature π
it is turned on by default but you can turn it off. Overall the future of Firefox is not so bright.

No users. No bugs. Right?
Spent $300k on a healthcare app that nobody uses https://www.reddit.com/r/SaaS/comments/1mmlnvl/spent_300k_on_a_healthcare_app_that_nobody_uses/
Joke aside, it seems you spent money to build an app without ever consulting end users and you failed to understand what functionality they would want. This is the problem. It is an expensive lesson for sure.
Coming Soon: Microsoft GitHub 365 with Copilot. Hold on to your keyboards, devs, because the coding cavalry is coming. The days of manual human labor are over. This isn't just a platform, it's a digital overlord that will write your code, fix your bugs, and make PR suggestions so good you'll wonder if you were ever a programmer in the first place. Your coding days are numbered. Say goodbye to bugs and hello to a future where your projects practically build themselves (1/2)
You wanted to know if this is real or satirical. It is satirical right now, and some AI features are already developed by them, so it will be a reality soon, or at least they are going to push it hard to everyone. So, devs, keep your skills updated, especially debugging code and security related tasks like writing secure code and general infosec stuff including fixing mess created by vibe coding. That is one way to deal with this AI created mess and stay employed π
Good luck and god speed. (2/2)
