Massive shoutout to AVee for making some huge optimisations in BeaconDB's map generation code, not only fixing map updates (it was crashing on the new server) but cutting down processing time from ~1 hour to a few minutes!

You should now see much more detail when zoomed out, and I've added some filters to help cleanup some submissions from planes and GPS spoofing. Also, map tiles no longer use Cloudflare's CDN.

"Insurance helpline, how can I help?"

"On my life insurance application there's a question about my child: Are they likely to become a protagonist?"

"Do they have an unusual hair colour, or a special talent?"

"Yes, pink hair, great at bowling, why?"

"That increases the risk of a parent dying."

When we design for disabilities, we make things better for everyone. This is called the Curb-Cut Effect. The term was coined by disability students and activists in the 70s, who added curb cuts to the Berkeley sidewalks to make access easier for those in wheelchairs. They discovered those also helped people with strollers, using trolleys for deliveries, etc.
